Mother needs help making her daughters' dreams come true
Profile: Zoila is the mother of two little girls: Darlene (7) and Janise (4). A vibrant, energetic woman, Zoila has a lot to say about the community of Humboldt Park and the people living here. She lost her job and contacted RTG because she needs a new mattress, plus another bed for her daughters.
A proud Dominican woman, Zoila's doing what she can to provide for her children, who are both very smart and love school. Darlene, particularly, dreams about having a computer. Janise really wants a kitchen set to play house with. The family needs bedding (blankets, pillows) and Janise would like princess sheets. All three also need winter coats, clothes, and shoes.
