Profile: With daughters age 13 and 11, Humboldt Park's rising cost of living and a husband who was recently laid off, Pasquala is asking Reason to Give for as much help as we can give.

To add to their very real economic burdens, Pasquala has two additonal concerns: she is newly pregnant and her father and brothers are still poverty-stricken in Mexico. Pasquala had hoped to secure a job to help provide for her daughters, their education, and to send money home to her family in Mexico, but her pregnancy will make a long term position very difficult to find.

There is currently no one working in this family of four. Pasquala and her family ask for for clothes, blankets, bedroom and living room furniture, baby supplies and a computer.
