Mother reunites with her family!
Thanks to the generosity of Reason to Give's Facebook network, within 12 hours of sending out a special request we had raised enough for Linda's bus ticket to Iowa City. Rose, founder of Women Living With Hope, told us that her sister Linda had recently fallen on difficult times. Linda's 39 year old nephew passed away on September 8th, followed shortly thereafter by the suicide of her husband on the 17th. She had been understandably depressed, and had not left her house in several weeks.
Reason to Give was able to send Linda to cope with the support of her children during these hard times. Both Linda and Rose have expressed their gratitude to the generous donors.
