Why not support Evelyn by giving whatever you can
Evelyn is a 25 year old single mother of 3 little girls, Chiann (10), Arianna (7), and Melonie (6). She works full time at Macy's in the loss prevention and security department. Unfortunately, the money she brings home is not even close to what it takes to comfortably support her family. She has had to overcome a lot in her young life. With her family support system being broken down by addiction and adversity, Evelyn understands that if she is going to make it in this life, she's going to have to do it on her own. Years of being a victim of domestic violence also lowered her self worth and hindered her motivation. Evelyn came to Reason to Give to be "empowered."
Evelyn's first goal is to get her GED. She then wants to go to college for criminal justice or forensics. She's also considering nursing because she loves to help people. She likes her work in loss prevention, but hopes to hold a higher position in the field and make enough money to be self sufficient.
How You Can Help
By supporting Reason to Give, you'll ensure Evelyn will receive the tools, resources and support she needs to secure a better future. Upon graduation, we hope to provide Evelyn with a few things to help her on her path to success, such as a laptop, college books and other professional and educational expenses. Please help Evelyn empower herself.
